Crime Has a Happy Ending
An eighteen-year-old Ann Arbor, Michigan, man stole a car containing a cellular phone and was happily driving around town when all of a sudden, the phone rang. He must have thought to himself, "It's my car, so the phone call must be for me," because like a dope, he answered it.
He heard a woman's voice on the other end, and she sounded real nice. She told the thief she was a friend of the woman who actually owned the phone and that she was a very lonely lady and would love to meet a nice young man .
The thief thought he'd hit the jackpot: a new car, a new cell phone, and a date with a lonely stranger. He set up a time to meet the mysterious woman and, being the gentleman he was, showed up on time, driving the stolen car and holding the stolen cell phone. The mystery of the mystery caller was soon solved when a police-woman approached the man and placed him under arrest.
