John Kerry is Attacked by Fellow Veterans
It figures Sen. John Kerry would use this weekend to get his war record straight. I mean come on how many years has it been? Everything pretty much came out in the last Presidential Election from those who served side by side with him. He didn't want to respond while running his campaign, so what's he out to prove? Sen. Kerry must be thinking about running again in 2008. Before throwing his name in the ring, he'd better send his wife to etiquette school. She was a poor excuse for a first Lady, in my opinion. The condiment queen of the Heinz fortune didn't win many folks over with her poor attitude and facial expressions. Maybe she was just upset with all the millions of her dollars being fueled into tank that always ran on empty.
According to the Washington Times today — U.S. Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., is fighting back hard against critics who accuse him of fabricating his wartime service record.
The Swift Boat Veterans for Truth continues to spend money on Washington consultants, and gave $100,000 to a group last fall that sued Kerry for allegedly interfering with the release of a film that was critical of him, The New York Times reported.
Swift boat message boards and anti-Kerry Web sites are still filled with accusations that Kerry faked the military reports that led to his military decorations. Kerry failed to respond to the charges during his 2004 presidential campaign.
"They lied and lied and lied about everything," Kerry told the Times. "How many lies do you get to tell before someone calls you a liar? How many times can you be exposed in America today?"
Kerry told the newspaper his supporters are compiling a dossier that they say will expose every one of the Swift boat group's charges as a lie and put to rest any question about Kerry's valor in combat.
Memo to Sen. Kerry-Why not honor your fellow Veterans this Memorial Weekend, those who are serving our country with honor and true bravery. You sir are a cowardly lion, still licking your wounds.
