Police Chief Stace Banks Day just resigned after his dv arrest

...The report says Stace Day disabled the truck in the backyard, took his wife's drivers license, credit cards, checks, her jewelry and broke her cell phone so she could not make calls. The report stated he also broke the victims cell phone so she could not make calls. Later, the report says Stace Day threw his wife to the floor twice, the second time, knocking her out. The next thing she remembered, according to the report, was having water thrown in her face and hearing Day make the statement, "She's only faking, your mamma is such a drama queen"... the front door of the house had been broken in. The victim is said to have bruises on her leg and arm... Laurie Day is quoted as saying she believed her husband would kill her, and that he told her several times, "It doesn't matter where you go, I will find you, you know I have friends in high places, you can't hide from me"...
