Cincinnati Officer Accused of Raping Assault Victim
A Cincinnati police officer, a real scumbag is accused of raping a domestic violence victim at her home last year.
The Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office said that Officer William Simpson, 46, was indicted by a grand jury on three counts of rape and three counts of sexual battery.
Prosecutors said that on Oct. 3, Simpson responded to a dispute between the victim and her ex-boyfriend.
Investigators said Simpson took the victim to the clerk’s office to file burglary charges and then they returned to the victim’s home.
Simpson allegedly told the victim he would need to take pictures of her injuries, she said. The victim said she asked Simpson if a female officer could take the pictures or if she could take them herself. However, she said, Simpson refused and said he would take the pictures.
As Simpson took the pictures, he made sexual advances towards the victim, held her wrists and raped her, she said. He also instructed her not to tell anyone what happened, she said.
If convicted, Simpson faces up to 31 years in prison.
