Police Sergeant Arrested for Preying on Kids
A Michigan State Police sergeant sworn to protect and serve is now accused of preying on children.
Undercover investigators with the attorney general's office arrested State Police Sergeant Kevin Michael Hardoin on Monday, March 19th. Hardoin works at the Richmond post.
Hardoin is accused of trying to lure a 13 and 14-year-old girl for sex online.
Police say he was not actually talking to the teenagers, but instead undercover investigators. The 45-year-old sergeant reportedly tried to get the so-called "girls" to watch sexual acts via Web cam.
Hardoin used the screen name "Ragin_37". The attorney general's office says you should contact them if you see that name on your child's buddy list.
Investigators have taken computers and other evidence from Hardoin's home in Chesterfield Township.
The sergeant once worked as a coordinator for the Monroe chapter of the "Safe Kids Program". This scumbag Hardoin is married, with a baby on the way.
Hardoin has been suspended without pay pending the outcome of this investigation.
