If no one else will come forward and say it, I will.  Therea Parker, 41, was a 911 Operator and she is also the wife of a police officer. In addtion, Theresa who has not been seen since 3/22/2007.  She spoke with a family member everyday. There is a history of domestic violence. They, the distraught officer and his wife are going through a divorce.  This adds up to trouble, at least in my opinion, anyway. All the signs are there.

Another fact, he and his buddy were out on a fishing trip, on Thursday, the morning Theresa disappeared.  And no surprises here he is not considered a suspect.  Who else could there be?  Was she involved in a relationship with someone?  So far no accounts have been reported.  But, she is missing and the worst is feared.  The officer reamains on the job, probably keeps his mind away from the fact that she is missing.  So shouldn't he be helping with the investigation if he's so upset?   Someone that distraught over their loved one regardless of the situation should not be on the streets as a crime fighter.  I want to be wrong on this case and I pray that I am.  But, I have seen far too many cases over the years to show me otherwise.

According to wsbtv.com Authorities are investigating the sudden disappearance of a northwest Georgia 911 dispatcher.

Relatives of Theresa Parker contacted the Walker County sheriff's office on Saturday after growing concerned because they hadn't heard from Parker in several days. Parker, 41, was last heard from about 10 p.m. Wednesday when she talked on the phone with her sister, Sheriff Steve Wilson said.

Parker, who lives alone, talks with family members at least once a day, he said.

No one at the 911 dispatch center noticed her absence, Wilson said, because she was scheduled to be off work.

Wilson said officers are canvassing her neighborhood and interviewing family, friends and co-workers. So far, authorities have no clues why Parker disappeared, Wilson said.

The case is being investigated by the sheriff's office and by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
