We all knew it would be a matter of time before this piece of trash was charged in the murders of his entire family.  These types of family murders are taking place with greater frequency.  These "cowardly lions" who think of nothing but themselves would rather silence life.  Life they created, unable to just walk away and begin their lives again, the must kill in cold, cold blood.  May God allow the children and their Mom who live on in his kingdom throughout all eternity!

Christopher Vaughn, whose wife and three children were found slain in their SUV in Will County earlier this month, is now charged with killing all four family members, authorities announced today.

Vaughn was taken into custody this morning in Missouri — the same day his family was laid to rest. He is charged with four counts of first degree murder, according to prosecutors.

Christopher Vaughn arrived at the St. Charles, Mo., police department between 6:30 and 9 a.m. today. The police station is about a mile away from the funeral home and cemetery where his wife and children were laid to rest during a private burial service. A separate memorial service is scheduled for 1 p.m. today.

Christopher Vaughn was processed at the police station, and then released to the custody of the Illinois State Police, which is handling the investigation, officials said

On June 14, Kimberly Vaughn, 34, and her children; Abbi, 12; Sandi, 11; and Blake, 8, were discovered shot to death in the family’s SUV off Interstate 55, about 45 miles southwest of Chicago. Christopher Vaughn, 32, was the sole survivor.

He suffered minor gunshot wounds, and has been questioned by police on three separate occasions.

Law enforcement officials have described the shootings as a domestic incident.
