Update: Jeff Dennis "Officer Coward" Murder Trial
A graphic image of a rod passing through Carli Dennis’ head was displayed for jurors Friday during the fourth day of testimony in which Jeff Dennis is standing trial for the murder of his wife. The coward shot her while she was alsleep. May he never see sunlight, again!
The grisly photo illustrated the trajectory of the gunshot that ended the Wyoming resident’s life on Feb. 27, 2006. The bullet’s path, which entered the right side of her head near her ear and traveled left, while moving slightly down and back, contributed to forensic pathologist Dr. Gary Ross’ ruling that Carli Dennis did not pull the trigger.
“It’s my opinion the deceased was lying in a sleeping position when she was shot,” Ross said. “She may have been sleeping for some time before she was shot.”
Jeffrey Dennis insists he is innocent and that his wife committed suicide.
Day 5 Monday 10/22/2007: Recap Co-Workers and Friends continue to testify.
Carli Dennis once said her husband, Jeff Dennis, would hunt her down, kill her, and make it look like a suicide if she left him, Carli's former co-worker testified.Lynn Dretzel, a 911 dispatcher, testified Monday at Jeff Dennis' homicide trial in Carli's death. She said Carli made the statement while the two took a break together one day in 2005.
