A Tragic End For Two Young Lives

@ 01:28 AM (6 months, 7 days ago)

With great difficulty, I post in memory, the photo of these two precious angels Olivia Anderson age 6 and Nathan Anderson age 3, who along with their parents and grandparents who were executed gangland style, just before Chritsmas.   These angelic faces did not deserve to be murdered. "Given the magnitude of this crime, I pledge to give this case serious consideration for application of our state's ultimate penalty," King County Prosecutor Dan Satterberg said.  I am truly, at a loss for words.......

It is obvious "Officer Friendly", Trent Young, a tin badge piece of garbage needs to be put away for a very long time.  When ever a law enforcement officer commits these types of criminals against children it places a black mark against an entire police force who dilligently do their jobs to protect cities across the country.  Now more than ever, each department must now create units outside the good old boys "IAD" team who continue to police their own and often are not able to focus properly on those within departments who commit various criminal acts.

Stacy Peterson Case and Bizarre anonymous Photos/letter

As if the Stacy Peterson case was scripted like a twenty first century episode of the twlight zone, the plot thickens this time with a cab driver sited circling the next door neighbors driveway without a passenger and the neighbor waking up to finds photo's of cemetary sites along with a letter.  It's obvious someone went to great lengths in an attempt to provide a serious lead in her disappearance or they are playing a sick, sick game.  Either way I am hoping it is a solid lead to a tragic situation.

Reports by neighbors say the couple lived there about a year and sound those violins please they "were a lovely couple".  I am sure in the days ahead it will be said that Sestak just snapped and that will be the end of the explaination.  But, the media needs to place more emphasis on the victims here in each case.  So that others from the general public see these stories, understand that a man has committed the act of murder, he was not a wonderful person, he did not just wake up and decide to do this, this was a planned ,calculated event, a real tragedy is when the headlines sound as though one is selling cookies.  Please start headlining these cases as homicides/murders and provide information on the victim and also what people can do when they are married to individuals who are violent, abusive or stalking.

"Dark Tuesday" For Stacy Peterson & Those Married To Cops

Tags:
@ 05:32 PM (6 months, 13 days ago)
It is Christmas, a day to count your blessings and be thankful.  For many families of crime victims this year, in particular, those within the law enforcement community, today is "Dark Tuesday", for their loved one(s) are still unaccounted.  Missing in action if you will, married to those who take an oath to serve and protect.  These tin badge cowards do not attempt to provide answers or look for their wives or girlfriends when they disappear.  In a crime these police officers are by far the worst and best at being clever like a fox, serial criminals.  They often know better than the common man how to commit the perfect murder.  The lights still burn brightly in these missing victims homes.  And sadly they will continue until that day when either the phone rings or there is a knock at the door informing them that Stacy and others have finally been found and can be laid to rest.
Stacy Peterson, a mother of two, was reported missing to the Illinois State Police early Monday after she failed to meet her sister Sunday to help paint a house. Her husband, Bolingbrook Police Sgt. Drew Peterson, 53, said he last saw her about 10 a.m. Sunday, and last spoke with her about 9 p.m. Sunday when she called on her cell phone to say she was leaving him.

Stacy has been missing since 10/28/07.  You can help by passing out or creating flyers.  Showing up and helping in the search.  If you know anything, please call the numbers below.  Website address is www.findstacypeterson.com

A Silent Holiday In Their House

This year during the holiday season many home's will be without their Mother. These very special women who were married to, living with or Police Officers themselves lost their lives at the hands of Law Enforcement Officers who themselves took an oath to serve and protect.  The problem was it did not apply to their loved one, whom they murdered.  In memory of these women, I would like to believe that their lives counted for something other than another statistic of Officer related domestic violence murders.  My wish and objective for the new year is for their voices to be heard loud and clear creating legislation and programs that effectively save lives within every police department across America.  I would like to mention just a few who have left in 2007 to become Guardian Angels in Heaven.  Each video tells their tragic story. To learn more press each photo and a video will begin.

Domestic Violence-The Offender? A Veteran Cop.

Joe is a 15 year veteran patrol officer. Well-respected and well-liked, he's been married to the love of his life for the past 12 years and they have three well-adjusted children. From the outside in, Joe's life seemed perfect. However, a series of events occurred over a span of four months that devastated Joe's world. His brother died at the age of 45 from an unexpected stroke, he was first on the scene where a close friend and coworker was killed in a gory DUI accident, and his 7 year old daughter was molested by the 14 year old neighbor boy whom his wife allowed into their home to play with their 11 year old son.

At first Joe appeared to be coping reasonably well with these three events and everyone missed the slow progression of behavior changes. Over time Joe became reserved and withdrawn. He was no longer making jokes in roll call nor laughing at anyone else's. He stopped meeting with fellow officers for mid-shift coffee break. When shift was over, he stopped lingering in the locker room to chat. When he did talk his optimism was replaced with anger and cynicism. He used to treat the public, even those he arrested, with respect. Now his attitude and words showed contempt. An unusual amount of complaints were coming in about him from the public. When Joe was approached, he became defensive stating "they are all a bunch of idiots." His words were also oddly disrespectful towards his wife, a person no one had ever heard him speak of before without admiration. Coworkers began hearing Joe call her lazy and stupid.

In a memo to the officers within the Milville police department regarding safety and domestic violence during the holiday season I was happy to read safety points for the general public and well as for police officers. Then, the author of the memo, a fellow police officer and close friend of Robert Vanaman who was charged with the murder of his wife Barbara Vanaman back in May of 2006, provides his version of why Robert killed his wife.  Sounds more the the brotherhood of "she had it comming to her".  Barbara is not alive to defend herself.  I do understand the importance of providing domestic violence awareness information for officers.  But, must the friend, a fellow officer,  at the same time include his version of "hey, my buddy is innocent"?  This seems to be a classic cookie cutter case of the Blue Brotherhood protecting one of their own. Below is the memo without a name.

A New Mexico State Police officer shot to death by her son this morning is the first female officer in the history of the agency to die while in the state service.  Susan Kuchma, 43, was off duty when she was gunned down she was shot once and died at the scene.

VIDEO

Her son, Justin Quintana, 25, was arrested and is being held in the Doa Ana County Detention Center.

"What I can say is that our investigators have found enough evidence to charge Quintana with one open count of murder," Las Cruces Police Department spokesman Dan Trujillo said.

Police said it was Quintana who reported the shooting at Dr. King Way and Taylor Drive.

When police arrived they found officer Kuchma lying in the street.  Quintana was nearby.

Kuchma had been a State Police officer for five years.

"The New Mexico State Police has very few female officers," Chief Faron Segotta said.  This is the first time in the history of our department that a female officer died while being a member of the State Police."

Kuchma was well-known in the department and was well-liked, he added.

Her husband Patrick Kuchma is also a State Police officer stationed in Las Cruces.  Quintana is reported to be her child from a previous marriage.

Police said for some reason Quintana called Kuchma to his home on Dr. King Way in the middle of the night.

It's unclear what may have lead to the shooting.

Police said they found a handgun believed to be murder weapon at the scene.  It is not known if it was Kuchma's service weapon. State police spokesman Lieutenant Rick Anglada said the 43-year-old officer was married to another state police officer, patrolman Patrick Kuchma.

Riley Ann Sawyers Age 2-"NO" Excuse For Torture and Murder

Tags:
@ 09:38 PM (6 months, 25 days ago)

Royce Clyde Zeigler II
Royce Clyde Zeigler II

It seems the Ex-wife of the accused killer's father has surfaced indicating that Riley Ann Sawyers step father was raised in the same strict possibly and abusive home.  I am sorry, but, there is no explaination in the world that can explain or excuse the act of torture that ended in murder.  Especially on a child, unable to defend themselves, period!

AP Story -HOUSTON—When Rita Grofer heard that Royce Clyde Zeigler II was accused of beating his 2-year-old stepdaughter to death because the toddler failed to say "please," and "yes, sir," her blood chilled.

About 30 years ago, she had been married to Zeigler’s father, who she said imposed the same disciplinary rules on their baby daughter and became violently enraged when she tried to intervene, once grabbing her by the throat and smashing her head into a kitchen cabinet.

"What (the younger Zeigler) did with that child was exactly what I saw, but mine never got killed," Grofer said.

Grofer and another of Zeigler’s four ex-wives are pleading for mercy for Zeigler II, 24, and his 19-year-old wife, Kimberly Trenor, saying they were caught in the same cycle of violence that threatened their lives decades ago.

Trenor and the younger Zeigler are accused of killing Riley Ann Sawyers, storing her body in a shed for two months, then dumping her in Galveston Bay, where she washed ashore in October.

A grand jury will decide Wednesday whether Trenor and Zeigler II, should be charged with capital murder, a charge eligible for the death penalty.

Riley was known as "Baby Grace" for weeks after her tiny body washed ashore in a plastic box in Galveston Bay.

Her identity remained a mystery until a police sketch caught the attention of her paternal grandmother in Mentor, Ohio.

That led authorities to the young couple, who married in June after meeting through an online game.

They were living in Spring, a suburb north of Houston.

Trenor’s attorney, Tommy Stickler Jr., said Grofer and another of the elder Zeigler’s four ex-wives, along with a close relative the lawyer wouldn’t identify, contacted him.

All of them blame the elder Zeigler and said the son was likely mirroring his father’s behavior.

The elder Zeigler did not return several telephone messages left at his home by The Associated Press seeking comment.

No one answered the door at his stately brick house in prosperous suburb about five miles from where his son and daughter-in-law lived with Riley.

Neither Royce Zeigler has a criminal record in Texas. Police were called to the family’s old home in the Houston suburb of Tomball for a family disturbance in 1996, but additional information was not immediately available.

Neal Davis III, the younger Zeigler’s attorney, said he was shocked by the ex-wives’ allegations.

Davis said he believes the elder Zeigler has been with his client’s mother since the 1980s, although marriage records indicate they wed in 2004.

The other marriages occurred between the late 1960s and 1980.

"As far as we know, everything was just kind of normal," Davis said of his client’s childhood. "Royce and Hiram (his younger brother) both have said 'No, my mom and dad when we got in trouble we would get kind of a time out, go to your room or occasionally a spanking."’

Baby Grace
Share your comments on the Baby Grace case Sign our Guestbook | View our Guestbook But Grofer said her ex-husband called their daughter, April, a few years ago at her urging because the young woman was critically ill with a seizure disorder.

He screamed through the phone that he hated her and she sickened him, said Grofer, who listened to the call. Afterward, she spent three hours holding her sobbing daughter, worried about another seizure.

The other ex-wife who contacted Stickler declined to speak to the AP out of fear of the elder Zeigler.

A third ex-wife, who also did not want to be identified for fear of retaliation, said Trenor’s claim that her husband wouldn’t let her work outside the home or put her name on their bank account, "was just like listening to my life."

"When I saw the news, I said out loud to myself, 'What did you do to your child to make him such a monster," the woman said.

The Associated Press could not locate the elder Zeigler’s other ex-wife, Deborah, but documents from her 1981 divorce petition said that after she filed for divorce, he tied an unidentified object around her left hand and tightened it until the bones snapped.

Trenor told Galveston authorities that she and the younger Zeigler beat Riley with leather belts, held her head underwater in a bathtub and threw her across a room, her head slamming into a tile floor.

An autopsy revealed that Riley suffered three skull fractures, but the cause of her death has not been determined.

Stickler said the fatal beating happened after the younger Zeigler stayed home from work to enforce the disciplinary plan he’d established for Riley.

He wanted Trenor to spank Riley with a belt when she failed to say things like "please" and "yes sir" or "no sir," but didn’t believe Trenor was complying because the 2-year-old’s behavior wasn’t changing, Stickler said.

Davis has declined to comment on the ex-wives’ stories or Trenor’s account, but has said Trenor’s credibility will become a big issue after all the evidence is examined.

People who experience or witness abuse as children are 10 times more likely to become abusers than people who don’t, said Richard Gelles, dean of the School of Social Policy and Practice at the University of Pennsylvania.

Davis said he’d just begun researching his client’s background and planned to closely examine his father’s past and any influence it may have had on his son’s behavior.

So Very Precious : Riley Ann Sawyers

Memo TO: Attorney Joel Brodsky RE: Your Client Drew Peterson

Tags:
@ 01:38 AM (6 months, 26 days ago)

Since you took on the "Defense of Drew Peterson" because he is entitled to  legal representation, my question to you sir is why set up a fund for someone who has yet to be charged with a crime?  Does being a suspect all of a sudden mean one sets up a legal defense fund? Why Mr. Brodsky, your client Drew Peterson, has not even been charged.  Here is a suggestion for your innocent client.  Perhaps Mr. Brodsky you should carefully consider creating a fund to hire an investigative team to locate Stacy.  I mean after all she allegedly ran off with someone , a man, according to the admissions of your client.  Perhaps Mr. Peterson can shed more light on with whom and where this person might be with his wife.  Sounds logical. That would certainly clear this entire matter up, would it not?   If she were still alive Mr. Brodsky, Rumor has it, your client, allegedly, is spending way too much lip service in a popular spot in Bolingbrook with the owner of the establishment who is a woman discussing matters of the heart.    Her's and his heart.  Seems your distraught and grieving client has quickly moved on with his life as evidenced by the "I will never get a date", statement, while at the same time setting up a defense fund so that you can represent him.  And then monies which he allegedly can not touch would go to his children.  Mr. Brodsky why not set up a fund to find Stacy and then take the extra money and donate those funds to a battered women's shelter? Or perhaps even a homeless organization.

Wisconsin Victims Families Request Laws For Police Officers

The family members of the victims of a shooting spree that happend in Wisconsin nearly two months ago are calling for changes to state laws, requiring more training and experience for police officers around the state. This should include every single state across the county, not just Wisconsin.  It is obvious Police Officers need more training and screening on a regular basis, not just when they enter the police force.  And as I have said before, families, wives of all law enforcement need training and services that include personal safety and services when in some cases the officer is abusive.

Poor Pee Wee Peterson

Drew Peterson's low life attitude and clear  lack of concern for his wife is absolutely mind blowing.   If you notice in each interview the concern for Stacy is non-existent.  He is obviously more concerned about his "love life".  The message on Dan Abrams, MSNBC late night was "He's Available".  Pat Brown  the author of Killing For Sport who was also a guest on the show labeled Peterson as a Psychopath.  So this "Dicklis  Wonder" is now asking for a date like he asked for someone to represent him in legal matters that may arise.   I thought that Drew Peterson's dating service plea for a woman would look something like this:image

The facts are that Stacy Peterson is still missing and this piece of cowardly garbage that has been served to the country every morning like a porta potty that needs to be removed because of the foul odor could care less about clearing his name or more importantly finding Stacy.    Volunteers and dedicated family members are braving the winter elements each day.  They have set up a website at http://www.findstacypeterson.com and also a pay pal account for donations in their efforts.

Tis The Season: Beware of The Scams

Tags:
@ 06:30 AM (7 months, 4 days ago)
As you are  preparing holiday meals and shopping for those over priced gifts, those low-life con artists are rearing their ugly selves by dusting off old scams and they are looking for new victims. YOU! Once again here are five popular holiday scams to avoid: gift card scams; online shopping schemes; phony charities; credit repair scams; and spam e-mail and other unsolicited offers.

Gift card scams. Scam artists take advantage of gift cards by writing down or memorizing the serial numbers on the face of the card while the cards are still displayed in the store. When an unsuspecting consumer purchases and activates the card, the thief simply calls the card's customer service number, verifies it is active, and uses the memorized serial number to make online purchases. Sadly, it is often days or weeks before the legitimate buyer (that means you) learns that the card balance was drained by a thief.

Drew Peterson-Morning Roll Call

@ 04:04 PM (7 months, 7 days ago)

MSNBC did a story on cops protecting their own as it relates to the Drew Peterson case.  The question also was posted on private police officer message board sites across the country.  Here's what Officers in other states posted on these "Officer Only" discussions as it relates to this case: Question was--WORLD MEDIA ASKING: DID FELLOW COPS 'PROTECT' DREW  PETERSON?:Morning Roll Call

Officer Comment:  think 18 calls in two years, someone should have seen a pattern. As a patrol deputy I would have. No such thing as professional courtesy when it comes to assaulting a women.

Officer Comment: SOMEBODY HELPED SOMEBODY HERE AND IT MAY HAVE FACILITATED A MURDER. LOTS OF SOUL SEARCHING HERE AND RE-THINKING POLICY INVOLING COPS AND DV.

Officer Comment:Needs to be an internal investigation starting at first line supervisors up the chain. I don't know about Peterson's state but this state is a "Shall Arrest" state when it comes to domestic violence. This is why we had to modify our professional courtesy from the old way of the blue wall of silence.
Officer Comment: Just like N a DUI/DWI situation...professional courtesy isn't doable when there's proof that the officer (brother or sister) is the violator. At the very lesat, the officer's boss is gonna get notified of the situation, but 2B truthful, it would not b fun, but I'd simply make the arrest and take the crap that is sure to follow. If somone above me chooses 2 unarrest the violator, that's something I can't control. But at least I did the job my correctly and conscious will be clear.
Officer Comment: I agree. Michigan is a shall arrest state. Even if it wasn't I would arrest because you do not assault a female.
Officer Comment: there needs to be an internal investigation for sure, but not by anyone on that PD. If they covered up for this guy over and over, they will cover their own asses too.. Need to be the State Police or FBI involved in this case. This woman could still be alove if the officer did their job..and SHE was the only one arrested...and aquitted....HUH..

Officer Comment:Shades of Tracy Thurman in Torrington Conneticut. Stinks

Officer Comment: Makes agency smell real bad REAL BAD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Officer Comment: What a shocker...this thing smelled like an a-hole being enabled by fellow cops from the beginning. And where were his bosses? In my dept. you would never stayed employed that long, 18 DV calls? Give me a break.
Officer Comment: Sadly, Peterson is a blemish to all of us. 99.9% of cops are just good people trying to do a difficult job. Thank goodness what's news today is history tomorrow.
Officer Comment:  I thought of Peterson as a "rogue cop."
One bad apple doesn't spoil the whole Department, but EIGHTEEN CALLS?! Were his coworkers afraid of his temper, too? He killed wives, what makes them think they'd be safe? Was Peterson a tyrant at work, too?

Officer Comment: lots of officer related crimes of late-sooner or later one case would change and pierce the blue wall-too bad it will put all cops under the radar now.

Officer Comment: At least I haven't seen some idiot saying professional courtesy extends to 18 DV CALLS IN TWO YEARS!!!!!!!! WAKE UP PEOPLE AND REALIZE WE ARE HELP TO A HIGHER STANDARD AND SHOULD BE! They really dropped the ball. BTW how does someone drown in a bathtub without the water (i.e. his third wife) WHERE ARE THE RED FLAGS!!!??? 18 CALLS IN 2 YEARS!!!??? Is anyone else as astounded by me that this KILLER was out for this long and being protected?
Officer Comment:
All of you are correct of course. I would be very
surprised to find any other officer on his agency was
involved in actually abetting peterson. The problem
here is that "blue wall of silence", that "sense of entitlement" a very few have and the reluctance, even
refusal of some to breach that wall, however egregious
the conduct/offense. This is evidenced by the vituperative
directed toward those on LOD that dare condemn conduct
unbecoming an officer, even corruption. Those few officers
ignore the REAL issue and resort to mis-characterization
of statements ACTUALLY made and outright lies. I realize
there is a HUGE difference between UNBECOMING CONDUCT and
ILLEGAL AND CORRUPT CONDUCT. Neither of those are what
most of LEO would call "mistakes everyone make". Those
are things that require a conscious thought, decision.
I never cited a LEO for minor traffic violations, I never
reported a LEO for not wearing a hat or inconsequential
things such as that. I believe for the most part those
posting such BS realize that, it's simply a matter of
"if the facts aren't on your side, attack the messenger"!
LEO are supposed to be ADULTS ! Act like adults, think
like adults and accept the responsibilities of an adult!
I think the days of unconditional "Professional Courtesy"
and unconditional "silence" is long past and well it should
be. If you are in my city (even though I'm retired) and
should need money, a ride, a place to stay overnight, or
other things of that nature I will help. Always have,
always will. But, if you were drunk on your butt and I
found you driving or you commit some other serious crime
(not necessarily a felony) then no "special" help from me.

Cop Comment: But sarge, they were only extending a little professional courtesy each time they were there. No need to jam a brother up, you might need him for back up sometime.

Officer Comment: anyone who let him slide needs an ass kicking on a mid-evil level for sure.

Here's the News Story:

Police Accused of Protecting

Their Own

Now residents of this Chicago suburb are wondering whether police were protecting one of their own — and whether they bear some responsibility for what happened next.

Peterson's wife at the time of the domestic disturbance calls, Kathleen Savio, was found dead in 2004 under mysterious circumstances. And now his current wife, Stacy, is missing and feared slain.

The way police dealt with Peterson "makes it kind of hard to trust cops," said Pablo Delira, a 59-year-old construction worker. He said he has no doubt he would have been led away in handcuffs if police had been called to his house 18 times.

Kim Camplin, who works in the clothing business, said Bolingbrook police should have taken the domestic disturbance calls more seriously.

"It doesn't matter if it's a fireman, a policeman or a clergyman — all it should take is one call and it should be taken seriously," she said. "What faith can we have in the system?"

Peterson, 53, was a police sergeant and 29-year veteran of the force, resigning earlier this month after he came under suspicion in his current wife's disappearance in October.

In a roughly two-year period beginning in 2002, police responded to 18 domestic disturbance calls at Peterson's house. Savio accused Peterson of beating her and threatening to kill her, but no charges were ever brought against him.

Instead, Peterson twice persuaded prosecutors to charge Savio with domestic battery. She was acquitted both times.

Police Lt. Ken Teppel said that in all 18 instances, police conducted a thorough investigation. He said a department inquiry found no indication officers did anything wrong or violated procedure.

But Teppel acknowledged the case has damaged the department's reputation.

"There is a distrust ... that this is going to be covered up," he said. "It's so hard to get over that."

Savio was found dead in her bathtub in 2004, and a coroner's jury ruled it an accidental drowning. But since Stacy Peterson's disappearance, investigators have re-examined Savio's death and exhumed her body, and said they now believe it was a homicide made to look like an accident.

Peterson has not been named a suspect in Savio's death. But authorities said he is suspected in Stacy Peterson's disappearance. Peterson has denied any wrongdoing in either case and said he believes his current wife left him for another man and is still alive.

The Bolingbrook department has handed the investigation over to the Illinois State Police — standard practice in criminal cases involving a member of the force.

Not everyone in the community of about 70,000 blames the department.

"I haven't lost one iota of trust in the police department," said Stephen DeFreeuw, a 16-year resident. "One rogue cop."

Teppel said street cops in the 122-member department are being reminded about the proper way to handle domestic calls and are being told they are expected to adhere to the rules, no matter who answers when they knock on the door.

Teppel said Police Chief Ray McGrury has made it clear: "There are no favorites."

Savio and Stacy Peterson were Peterson's third and fourth wives. He and wives No. 1 and 2 divorced.

Vicki Connolly, Peterson's second wife, has said that during their marriage, an increasingly controlling Peterson hit her and told her he could kill her and make it look like an accident.

Connolly said police sometimes came to the house when the couple were having problems, but she said the officers were friends of theirs and no reports ever were filed.
