Another Tin Badge Cowardly Officer: Murder of Erin Jones

Angry over a relationship break-up the now former Kansas officer Chris Tahah has finally been charged with the murder of Erin Jones, who was also the mother of two children.  Control, ownership, power and violence was the only skill this cowardly police officer used to commit murder. Officer Tahah is not capable of being a man and walking away from a situation.  He did what many of his fellow blue coward tin badge brothers across the county do, they kill the ones they love!

- Prosecutors have upgraded the murder charge against a former Dodge City police officer accused with killing his ex-girlfriend.

In the cleveland Plain Dealer Newspaper over the weekend the subject of officers who are abusive in their homes was raised, once again.  It is my opinion until  law enforcement communities take an active role in working directly with police families, we will continue to read and see the same lip service on the tin badge brotherhood mentality.

It's okay, I am a police officer and I have the self appointed right, because I have been issued a gun and a big tin badge, providing me the ultimate power, to murder my wife.  You see gentlemen, my fellow comrade's in blue, she wants to end our marriage. And I have the power to end her life.  This is the third such suicide in this police department within a 12 month period.  Obviously, it is not enough to have an employee assistance division within police departments, because it is not effective. This "cookie cutter" mentality among law enforcement departments across the country must structure a program that deals with officers and their families as a unit.  Police unions must get their heads out from under the caves they inhabit and begin providing real solutions to this deadly problem within their own "blue walls".  There are many ways to be effective and assist officers and families. Experts who can assist in providing real change and save lives.  A good place to start is within the Fraternal Order of Police, they have the power to be agents of change.
