When an order of protection is issued there is a hearing with evidence presented in front of a judge.  All too often, so the officer remains on the force, charges will be reduced or just disappear.  I have a question for the prosecutor on the case who obviously had enough evidence to secure th order of protection at the initial hearing.  WHY?  And are you willing to guarantee the victim's safety and well being?
