McDONALD'S latest bid to attract more customers -- Muslim fast-food lovers -- has caused uproar among customers. The fast-food chain has introduced halal products at two Melbourne restaurants, significantly boosting sales. Many non-Muslim customers are furious they were not told their hamburger meat was slaughtered and blessed in accordance with Islamic rules laid down in the Koran.

The arabic word (Halal) means lawful. In the Holy Quran, Allah commands Muslims and all of mankind to eat of the Halal things. Among the many verses of the Quran that convey this message, here is an example: O mankind! Eat of that which is lawful and wholesome in the earth, and follow not the footsteps of the devil.

Icky, Sticky, Smelly & Dangerous

Kent State's college degreed Professor Julio Pino begins today on one of his opening posts said "Inside the brain of George Bush: icky, sticky, smelly and dangerous:" Yes Bloghi's  Global War.  A real receipe for danger even when he is only capable of cutting and pasting news stories from around the globe. To use his own words, one wonders just how icky, sticky, smelly and dangerous this professor of history is while teaching at the University.  Shaping minds with his views is a receipe for disaster.   Afterall, he claims to be an American.  And yet, he dances like a clown at a circus when our men and women who are fighting for our country, posting cheers, when blood is shed.  Maybe the Professor should look outside his computer screen and realize the damage he does when he supports people like Osama bin Ladin.  And the University Board Members who support his daily posting often in the hundred's, look at his words and how he is not shaping and creating a healthy environment, for the university and it's student body.   Sword throwing is dangerous, especially when your wearing a blindfold, unable to see the truth.    Makes one wonder what kind of brains are at the helm of our state funded Universities, doesn't it?

This is the muslim terrorist sympathizer:

Muslim Communities Must Speak Up and Condemn The Violence

We haven't heard much from the Muslim Community  regarding the recent incident in London.  But, I thought for a moment what it must be like for Arab American's living and working in this country.  Not everone is a terriorist, but we are all guilty of thinking, each time we see one of them in our community, many of us automatically remember 9/11 or that we are at war because of "those people".  But, many are law abiding, hard working individuals who live together among their own community.  They are humans just like us.  And up until the tragedy that struck our nation, they lived among us, raising their children, contributing to society, and keeping to themselves.  But, has keeping to themselves, remaing silent to all the bloodshed, hurt them?  The answer is, Yes.

Fueling The Fire at Kent State University and a Petition To Cease Fire

Colleges and universities, like the institutions of free press and free speech, are supposed to carry out their "need to know" functions in a responsible manner.  Practically everyone would agree that the basic purpose of a college or university is to create new knowledge and teach both old and new knowledge.  Few would also disagree that academic freedom might be an appropriate tool for accomplishing that purpose.  However, sometimes the exercise of intellectual dissent under the guise of academic freedom is misguided and just plain wrong.  For example :
Lover of Angels, apparently known to some as Dr. Julio C. Pino, Professor of Kent State University has attracted the gaze of anti-terrorist activists.  While LOA hasn't shown anything but reasonable deference in his comments on this blog, (much obliged, Dr.)  he has definitely used his own blog, a school computer to author the site global-war, as a stump for pro-islamofascism.  His anti-American writings have many readers incensed and determined to see him removed from his post as a professor at a public university in Ohio.  For a look at the petition making its way around the country, click here.

In one post, he prays for a hurricane of fire "to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their infidel dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire"

His poetry includes descriptions of the sailors who were bombed on the USS Cole.  "The heads, arms, legs and other limbs of the bodies of the infidels flew like dust particles into outer space."

And if that doesn't give enough cause for alarm, he republishes previously released terror manual excerpts in his post, "How can I train myself for Jihad?"

Are you outraged? Then sign this petition being sent to the governor of Ohio.

Hey Ohio State University Since When Does Conservatism = Sexual Harassment

Tags:

I'm sure many women across the country have been sexually harassed at their jobs at one time or another... you know, the usual remarks...the hovering over our desks looking down into blouses... but how many of us have been sexually harassed by someone suggesting the reading of conservative books?  I dare say, not one of us.

But at Ohio State University, it seems that the suggesting of conservative books for freshman reading is grounds for suit under the sexual harassment statutes.
