These days getting killed on the streets of Chicago appears to depend on ones address and apparently skin color. Two women in recent weeks Theresa Bunn who was 21 years old and eight months pregnant was found strangled and burned in a garbage binn. Another woman Hazel Lewis, 52 years old was found strangled and burned in a trash binn, same neighborhood. Another young woman Deanna Glass, 14 years old, from the same neighborhood is also missing.  If you count the unborn child that is four lives, that we know of, who knows there are probably more. And there is still the unsolved murder of Nailah Franklin who was found murdered and burned in a forest preserve.

I haven't a clue as to how I received this email for singles and dating. I'm not knocking those looking for love, but the site could have been promoted in a more postive light other than using a picture of a woman holding a delicious piece of chocloate cake. I guess for all the big beautiful women who are looking for romance, skip the cake, go to the gym and do something nice for yourself like being healthy and then if you feel the internet is the only place to find a mate do so on a site that doesn't single out anyone based on size or hold up a piece of tempting cake!  That's not the site for you!

Every so often I receive fan mail. Mind you, this is a first.  This came from someone very special at the National Organization of Women. I did a little detective work and the IP address just happens to match that of the grammer school commentary of late on a recent blog.   The caption read's Kiss My A$$.

The National Organizarion for Women will be celebrating it's 40th birthady, soon .  One of the founder's who passed away last year Betty Freidan, wrote the organizations purpose statement in 1966.  They also include a disclaimer of sorts: NOTICE: This is a historic document, which was adopted at NOW's first National Conference in Washington, D.C. on October 29, 1966. The words are those of the 1960s, and do not reflect current language or NOW's current priorities.  I have posted highlights from an organization whose mission, agenda and leadership have drastically changed. Looking at the site today, forty years later, it's not the same organization my mother joined.  They support organizations such as Code Pink, individuals like Cindy Sheehan, George Soros, while blasting the President of the United States with this link:
